 lothing Swap! Join us and learn how to Rethink Waste\, refresh your wardro
 be with Nina\, and find out how to mend and alter clothing with our very o
 wn librarian\, Betsey!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><a href="https://envirocenter.org/">
 The Environmental Center</a> is a non-profit that serves as a regional hub
  for environmental education\, engagement\, and action. We carry out our m
 ission to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon through o
 ur five programs: Rethink Waste\, Climate Solutions\, Youth Education\, Sc
 hool Gardens\, and Advocacy. The Rethink Waste Project envisions a communi
 ty that understands the upstream and downstream impacts of using Earth's r
 esources and makes responsible decisions about the consumption\, use\, and
  disposal of materials. Our presentations cover the environmental impact o
 f our consumption- from the harvesting of raw materials to where items go 
 when we throw them "away." We focus on equipping the community with tools 
 to rethink\, reduce\, reuse\, repair\, and recycle to decrease our waste a
 nd move towards a more sustainable relationship with Earth's resources.</p
 >\n<p>Portland native Nina is a film and Shakespeare major who lived in&nb
 sp\;Yellowstone National Park for the last&nbsp\;9 years.&nbsp\; Now in Be
 nd\, she continues indulging her passion for nature and community by getti
 ng to experience&nbsp\;the state she loves in a brand new&nbsp\;city (to h
 er). She can also be seen in the rink playing for her local roller derby t
 eam\, the Lava City Rollers. Outside of outdoor exploration and contact sp
 orts\, she enjoys making art and spoiling her cats\, Eleanor and Prudence.
