  celebrated by over 2 billion people around the world. Millions of Asian A
 merican people\, whose families immigrated to the U.S. from countries such
  as China\, Korea\, Vietnam\, Thailand\, Singapore\, Indonesia\, Malaysia\
 , the Philippines\, and elsewhere\, will be observing the holiday beginnin
 g on February 17 with their families\, friends and neighbors.</p>\n<p>Come
  join us at the Connie Morella Library for an informative and entertaining
  short program describing and explaining some of the customs and tradition
 s associated with the chasing away of evil spirits and welcoming in a new 
 year filled with happiness\, prosperity and luck! We'll read some children
 's picture book stories\, sing some New Year songs\, and have a chance for
  you to make New Year lanterns\, dragons\, and horses of your own! Free ti
 ckets will be distributed\, one per person\, first-come\, first-served\, b
 eginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.</p>\n<p><strong>Questions about this prog

 \n<p>Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limite
 d to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children 
 attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adu
 lt. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompan
 ying child.</p>\n<p><strong>Accommodation Requests</strong></p>\n<p>People
  who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request&nbsp\;English-language cap
