 u\, RDN\, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist with over 40
  years of experience. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehma
 n College\, Bronx\, NY\, and a Master&rsquo\;s in Education from New York 
 University School of Education. She retired from Kaiser Permanente\, where
  she provided consultant services as a Health Educator for 24 years. She i
 s presently working part-time as a Nutritionist at the Prince George&rsquo
 \;s County Health Department\, Health &amp\; Wellness Division\, providing
  nutrition programming for the Dine\, Learn &amp\; Move program\, the Diab
 etes Prevention Program\, and nutrition education workshops for chronic di
 sease and self-management.</p>\n<p>Sherma has worked on initiatives within
  the state of Maryland focusing on reducing and eliminating health dispari
 ties\, including infant mortality\, HIV/AIDS\, and oral cancer. She contin
 ues to be instrumental in planning community outreach\, health fairs\, edu
 cational summits\, and collaborating with community-based groups and partn
 ers to address food insecurity in Prince George&rsquo\;s County.</p>\n<p>M
 s. Brisseau is a charter member and past treasurer of the National Council
  of Negro Women (NCNW)\, Bowie/Mitchellville Section. She received the Dor
 othy I. Height Award in 2001 and 2003 for her dedicated service.</p>\nhttp
