  moving to America at age 15. She put herself through high school and grad
 uated as college valedictorian before commissioning into the US Army as an
  intelligence officer. That&rsquo\;s where she really started to think abo
 ut group behavior&hellip\;and seeing it\, well\, everywhere. She will be r
 eading from her new book\,&nbsp\;<em>The Culting of America</em>\, as well

 picture robes\, chanting\, and remote compounds. But toxic groups don&rsqu
 o\;t just exist on the fringe. They thrive in boardrooms\, group chats\, f
 itness classes\, political rallies\, religious groups\, and corporate retr
 eats&mdash\;anywhere we seek identity\, purpose\, and belonging. <em>The C
 ulting of America</em> reveals how cultish behavior isn&rsquo\;t just thri
 ving in modern life&mdash\;it&rsquo\;s hiding in plain sight\, woven deep
