Join us for this very special One Communit y\, One Book event celebrating the power of storytelling and community wit h Adena White of Blackbelt Media. During this guided\, reflective experien ce\, participants will be invited to share a story or reflection based on a brief prompt. Whether you have a story to share (no pressure to tell a p erfect one!) or would prefer to simply listen\, this interactive story cir cle will help us connect with each other and recognize the everyday histor ies in our own lives.
\nMargot Lee Shetterly was inspired to write < em>Hidden Figures after hearing stories about Black female computers from her father\, and her research into these incredible women led her to discover their stories in living rooms\, family meals\, and long-forgotten newspaper clippings. So\, come to the library\, grab a coffee\, and start your Saturday with a story.
