Choose the date that works best for you&md ash\;March 16 or April 20&mdash\;and join us to paint a country road inspi red by artist Grant Haffner's love of road trips\, landscapes\, utility po les\, and the technique of one-point perspective. In this fun program\, we 'll guide you step-by-step in painting a solitary road being kept company by a line of telephone poles\, all leading to hills on the horizon.
\n< p>Beginners are most welcome&mdash\;no experience is necessary. We'll be u sing permanent\, acrylic paints\, so please wear clothes that can get stai ned\, just in case.\nRegistration begins March 9 for Ma rch 16's program. Participants must be in grades 3&ndash\;5. To ensure suc cessful signup\, each child needs to be registered separately\, using the child's first and last name on the registration form. A library card numbe r is not required.
\nAlthough some participants may pa int for the entire length of the program\, we ask caregivers to be availab le in the Kids Area before the program's end time for those who finish ear ly. All children in grade 5 and below must have a caregiver on library pre mises during the program.
