Spring and Summer don&rsquo\;t have to be the only times we enjoy our garden! Join us as we explore various ways you can create a sustainable yard that provides food and habitat for local wi ldlife in every season. We&rsquo\;ll discuss ways to support local birds a nd pollinators year-round\, as well as ways to conserve water and improve soil health even when you can&rsquo\;t see the ground!
\nAbo ut the Presenters:
\nMadison Wisniewski - \;As the Conservation Implementation Specialist\, Madison Wisniewski w orks with residents\, local partners\, and other Franklin County entities to implement various conservation practices across the county. As a certif ied Master Rain Gardener\, she focuses on assisting residents and communit ies with installing rain gardens and other stormwater management tools to better improve water quality. Madison graduated from Ohio University in 20 18 with a BS in Environmental Geography. \;
\nMaddie Mot es is Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District&rsquo\;s (FSW CD) Conservation Implementation AmeriCorps Member\, currently serving her second term with FSWCD. Maddie is a University of Dayton Alumni (Go Flyers !)\, where she graduated with her BA in Sustainability\, an Urban Studies concentration\, and minor in Political Science. She fields conservation in quiries\, organizes volunteer events\, and assists with grant administrati on. She attends cohort events where she can be involved in native planting s\, invasive removals\, and cleanups. In addition to direct conservation w ork\, she is involved with Outreach including writing newsletters\, develo ping conservation-based handout materials\, and facilitating educational p rograms like river seining.

\nWhile the library's main entrance is under construction\, we remain open. Clear signage will guide visitors to a tem porary\, fully accessible entrance via a ramp in the southeast alley\, lea ding to the dock entrance.
\nThe library \;parking \;lot als o remains open\, with temporary entry and exit available via \;Euclair e Avenue only. \;Parking \;may be limited\, so we encourage you to arrive early and use street \;parking \;on Euclaire\, Mound\, and other nearby streets.
