  mahjong nights.</p>\n<p>Whether you are looking to reconnect with the gam
 e\, pick up a new hobby\, or introduce others to a favorite pastime\, Mahj
 ong is a step-by-step guide for new and seasoned players alike. With gorge
 ous photography by Chinatown Pretty&lsquo\;s Andria Lo and detailed instru
 ctional diagrams\, author Nicole Wong walks readers through the gameplay\,
  strategy\, and history of mahjong\, as well as popular styles of play lik

 ong></p>\n<p>Nicole Wong&nbsp\;is a writer and audio producer based in Oak
 land\, California. She started The Mahjong Project in 2019&mdash\;part ins
 tructional guide\, part oral history project\, to document her family&rsqu
 o\;s house rules and place them&nbsp\;in the broader history and diaspora 
 of the game itself.&nbsp\;She has been featured in The Washington Post\, T
