Alvin M . Hayes retired after a successful career selling technology products & \; services to Fortune 500 companies. Alvin is the creator of &ldquo\;The whileBlack Chronicles\," a historical fiction series about the Black exper ience in America.

\n

Hayes\, a native of Hartford\, CT.\, received hi s BS degree in Sociology from Tennessee State University and is a Life Mem ber of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He currently resides in South Florida. Hayes shares his African American Historical Fiction stories to bring awar eness to historical events and how Black families survived and prospered d espite laws\, anti-Black mindsets\, and violence.
