Staff from the New Jersey Cybersecurity &a mp\; Communications Integration Cell will \;provide an overview of the different types of profit-motivated cybercrime targeting US businesses\, governments\, and private residents\, including\, but not limited to\, ran somware\, business email compromise\, social engineering\, unauthorized ac cess\, and the tactics and techniques used in these incidents. A Q&\;A session will conclude the presentation.

\nAbout the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC)
\nThe NJCCIC is the state&rsquo\;s one-st op shop for cybersecurity information sharing\, threat intelligence\, and incident reporting. Acting in a cyber fusion center capacity\, the NJCCIC is a component organization within the New Jersey Office of Homeland Secur ity and Preparedness. The NJCCIC works to make New Jersey more resilient t o cyberattacks by promoting statewide awareness of cyber threats and wides pread adoption of best practices. They provide a wide array of cybersecuri ty services\, including the development and distribution of cyber alerts a nd advisories\, cyber tips and best practices for effectively managing cyb er risk.
