Got a young one learning how to hold a bru sh? Want to introduce your child to the joy of painting? Come by SPK's Mes sy Art Program\, and let's have some painting fun! \;
\nWe&rsquo \;ll be painting on textured panels covered in layered recycled materials to create a giant art piece as a group - the emphasis is on the fun of mar k making\, movement and choices for color and pattern\, rather than on a f inished product. There also will be a freegal playlist curated to play whi le we create: no words\, just swoops of sound - much like the colors we'll be applying! \;
\nWe recommend wearing clothing you don 't mind some paint stains on (we'll be sticking to washable mater ials\, but better safe then sorry) and be ready for floor time - so that the young ones can reach all parts of the panels we'll be working directly on the floor of the room (with a drop cloth to protect th e carpet). \;
