David Lane Williams and his best friend once used two gallons of go-kart paint o n themselves one sweltering Texas afternoon in 1970. He recalls the libera l use of acetone\, a bristle brush\, and brand-new curse words by their pa rents&mdash\;it explains a lot.
\nHe recovered in time to pursue a d ecorated thirty-year career in public safety\, with assignments in paramed icine\, helicopter rescue\, patrol\, mental health outreach\, and Special Investigations Unit detective. Today\, he teaches criminology at the Unive rsity of Arkansas and writes a monthly column for Killer Nashville Magazin e. He and his family live in the Ozarks\, where they offer a haven for res cued donkeys and horses.

sas theatre world\, Jules is an icon. At the Faculty of Arts Life Theatre
in Fayetteville for nearly 20 years\, she&rsquo\;s taught acting\, comedy
improvisation\, musical theatre\, and directing. Known for the statewide t
our\, digging up Arkansas\, she used the stage to teach students from the
Delta to the Ozarks the history of the Natural State. Jules has a Master o
f Arts in Theatre from Texas A&\;M University and a Bachelor of Fine Ar
ts in Acting and Dance from The College of Santa Fe\, NM.
