Paws to Read is a heartwarming and innovat ive program designed to support young readers by offering them a non-judgm ental\, calming environment to practice their reading skills. Certified th erapy dogs\, trained to provide comfort and companionship\, give children the opportunity to read aloud to them. This program fosters confidence in young readers while also creating a relaxed\, enjoyable atmosphere for lea rning. Readers will take turns in the order that they arrive. \;
\nAll canine friends are registered and insured through the Alliance of T herapy Dogs. Reading at this program will count toward your Summer Reading Club goals to win prizes.
