 k that explores the profound wisdom of Indigenous worldviews\, their relat
 ionship with the natural world\, and the sacred role of medicines in maint
 aining balance and well-being. This session will provide an opportunity to
  learn directly from Indigenous teachings and practices\, focusing on the 
 deep connection between all living beings and the Earth.</p>\n<p><strong>A
 bout the Presenter</strong><br />My name is Scott Norton. I am an Ojibway 
 man of mixed ancestry\, and I have been part of the Kitchener&ndash\;Water
 loo region for the past 53 winters. For more than 32 years\, I have served
  as a helper within my community\, walking alongside others in various rol
 es focused on support\, connection\, and healing.</p>\n<p>I am a veteran o
 f the Canadian Armed Forces\, and my experiences there continue to shape m
 y sense of service\, responsibility\, and care for others. Within the comm
 unity\, I am a singer and dancer with a community drum group\, and I serve
  as a fire keeper and helper for our men&rsquo\;s circles. These roles are
  deeply meaningful to me and are rooted in responsibility\, respect\, and 
 tradition.</p>\n<p>I currently work with Crow Shield Lodge as the Lead Out
 reach Coordinator for the Region&rsquo\;s HART Hub\, where I continue my c
 ommitment to helping those who need support the most. I am grateful to be 
 able to give back in ways that honor both my lived experience and my cultu
 ral teachings.</p>\n<p>Above all else\, I am a proud brother\, son\, uncle
 \, and nephew&mdash\;but most importantly\, I am a devoted father and husb
 and. My family\, community\, and culture guide the work I do and the way I
  move through the world.</p>\n<p><strong>Registration for each participant
