 or. Kat holds degrees in Counseling\, Human Development and Family Science
 \, and a postgraduate certification from the Institute for Meditation and 
 Psychotherapy. She has worked as a clinically trained counselor in local m
 ental health and substance use treatment agencies and was the program assi
 stant at The Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic at The Center for Orthopedic an
 d Neurosurgical Care and Research in Bend. Additionally\, she maintains he
 r private practice as a counselor\, life coach\, and consultant\, and has 
 been an ordained minister since 2013.</p>\n<p>A lifelong helper\, Kat is p
 assionate about walking alongside individuals during some of their most ch
 allenging moments&mdash\;providing compassion\, support\, and practical co
 ping skills to individuals and groups alike. Kat chooses to walk alongside
  others in their grief because she knows the journey well\, and has the to
 ols and skills to help others navigate their path. Kat moved to Central Or
 egon in 2000 after a lifetime of military travel as both an Air Force depe
