 ational initiative\, founded in 1990 in Minnesota\, in response to an epid
 emic of domestic violence homicides. There are local Silent Witness Projec
 t chapters in all 50 states.&nbsp\;The 2026&nbsp\;Northwest Ohio Silent Wi
 tness Project exhibit features more than 40 figures and dozens of retired 
 chest plates\, each representing a life abruptly and violently ended by an
  intimate partner or stalker.</p>\n<p>During the unveiling\, the silhouett
 es will be revealed one by one in a solemn ceremony. Each Silent Witness w
 ill be represented by an individual reader\, who will recount the story of
  the girl or woman represented by that figure.</p>\n<p>The Northwest Ohio 
 Silent Witness Project is housed and maintained by Bethany House. For more
