 borhood Ecology</em>. Join filmmaker Jazmin Garcia for a discussion after 
 the screening of the film in the Recital Hall at Brand Library &amp\; Art 
 Center. <em>Trokas Duras</em> is the winner of the Short Film Jury Award f
 or Best US Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival 2025. The narrative of th
 e film follows a visual journey through the interior landscapes of a Jorna
 lero's dreams\, his waking reality in L.A.\, and what it looks like when a
  group of people relegated to serving others labors for their own elevatio
 n of body and spirit. A homage to the unique\, idiosyncratic\, and customi
 zed old pick-up trucks driven by Latino day laborers and the intimacy that
  is cultivated in and around them.</p>\n<p>Alongside <em>Trokas Duras</em>
 \, we will be screening the behind the scenes documentary for <em>Trokas D
 uras</em>\, <em>ENTRE LUZ</em>. <em>ENTRE LUZ</em> director Pablo Simental
  will be present at the event for a discussion after the screening.</p>\n<
