Students in Grades K-8! K eep your Summer Reading Challenge going by joining in this unusual version of a book club: you share with us what you've been reading and try to get other kids excited about it\, then learn from them about their favorites and maybe check them out yourself. Come ready to talk for a few minutes ab out anything you've loved reading or have had read to you--picture book\, chapter book\, nonfiction\, graphic novel\, series book\, readalong\, even a playaway or audiobook you've been listening to. We'll have a fun icebre aker activity to get started\, then hear from all our participants\, and p lay a book- and library-themed game. The Connie Morella children's librari ans will also have a selection of books that they've picked out for you to take a look at and see if one just might be your next book to read!
\nLibrary Program Attendance (both virtual and in the br anch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the pro gram. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accomp anied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must h ave an accompanying child.
