 thic after he killed a female wolf in the Apache National Forest in 1909. 
 He wrote of this experience and more in his essay "Thinking Like a Mountai
 n." The documentary explores how his philosophy has inspired current conse
 rvation work across the United States.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In 1949\, Leopold pu
 blished&nbsp\;<em>A Sand County Almanac&nbsp\;</em>that blends nature writ
 ing\, science\, and philosophy to advocate for a respectful relationship b
 etween humans and the natural world. CALS\, in partnership with the Arkans
 as Audubon Society\, will host a reading of&nbsp\;<em>A Sand County Almana
 c&nbsp\;</em>at CALS Maumelle Library on Saturday\, March 6 from 10am to 1
