 yne&nbsp\;W. Wood\, widely regarded as one of the foremost chroniclers of 
 Northeast Florida&rsquo\;s history and architecture\, has been called &ldq
 uo\;the undisputed godfather of preservation in Jacksonville.&rdquo\; An a
 uthor\, historian\, artist\, and educator\,&nbsp\;Wayne&nbsp\;is founder o
 f Riverside Avondale Preservation\, the Riverside Arts Market\, and Friend
 s of Hemming Park (now James Weldon Johnson Park). He has published ninete
 en books on Northeast Florida\, and his best-known book is the classic\, J
 acksonville's Architectural Heritage: Landmarks for the Future\, a local a
 ll-time best-seller. He is also the author of&nbsp\;LIFE: The Untold Story
  of Charles Adrian Pillars\, the definitive biography of the sculptor who 
 created the iconic statue in Memorial Park.&nbsp\;Wayne&nbsp\;is the Histo
 rian-at-Large for the Jacksonville History Center.&nbsp\;Folio Weekly&nbsp
 \;called him "The Most Interesting Man in Jacksonville."</p>\n<p>A book si
 gning will follow\, with books available for sale on site.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>
 Register to save your seat. Registration must be completed two hours prior
  to the start time. A library card and PIN are required for registration.
