Step into the vibrant flavours of the Cari bbean in this hands on roti masterclass with Chef Arielle! You&rsquo\;ll l earn the art of making Trinidadian "Buss Up Shut" - a sil ky\, buttery\, and flaky roti that earns its name from its "shredded shirt " appearance. We&rsquo\;ll pair it with a classic Curried Channa a nd Aloo\, a light and aromatic braised chickpea and potato stew. It&rsquo\;s a mild\, comforting dish where every piece of soft dough is de signed to soak up that delicious curry.
\nChef Arielle is a professi onally trained chef with over 20 years of diverse culinary experience. Ori ginally from the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago\, she blends bol d Caribbean flavours with classical techniques. After moving to Canada for culinary school over 15 years ago\, she's worked throughout Niagara on th e Lake and Waterloo Region\, including six years as an Executive Chef at o ne of the world&rsquo\;s largest tech companies where she managed several kitchens and a large team. Chef is passionate about food education and loo ks forward to continuously sharing her expertise through hands on cooking classes.
