 he Poet</h5>\n<p>Barbara Tran's poetry collection&nbsp\;Precedented Parrot
 ing&nbsp\;was a finalist for the Governor General&rsquo\;s Literary Award 
 and Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry\, and&nbsp\;a CBC selecti
 on for Best Books of 2024. She wrote the title character's narration for a
  film nominated for Best&nbsp\;VR Story at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival\,
  and her poetry and short fiction have appeared in various literary review
 s. Barbara is currently working on a screenplay\, and she has a chapbook r
