Celebrate early childhood education with a rt\, music\, entertainment and activities during the 2026 Ocean County Chi ldren&rsquo\;s Festival\, presented by the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC). The Ocean County Library Toms River Branch will host the event\, 11 AM until 3 PM Saturday\, May 2.
\nGe t ready for a fun-filled time during this free\, drop-in family event with programs and activities geared for young children\, plus family resources and community connections.
\nThis year&rsquo\;s theme is &ldquo\;Th e Wonderful World of \;Books"&rdquo\;. Join in the interactive family sing-along with music teacher and early childhood specialist Brenda Limald i of Musically Mindful. Stop by NJAEYC&rsquo\;s table for information abou t family resources. Step outside for more activities in the courtyard.
\nNJAEYC\, affiliated with the National Association for the Education o f Young Children\, has given accreditation to more than 200 New Jersey sch ools and early learning centers that meet its standards for high quality\, research-based education for young learners.
