 ng Lab is a hands-on art program that blends creativity with paleontology 
 and Earth&rsquo\;s hidden history. Designed for youth and welcoming to fam
 ilies\, it supports the 2026 Summer Learning theme &ldquo\;Underneath a St
 ory&rdquo\; by inviting participants to imagine what lies beneath the grou
 nd\, including fossils\, bones\, footprints\, and ancient worlds\, and to 
 turn those discoveries into canvas art.</p>\n<p>The session begins with a 
 short\, interactive introduction to fossils and how paleontologists uncove
 r clues from the past. Participants then create dinosaur-themed paintings 
 using simple\, step-by-step techniques such as sketching silhouettes and l
 ayering &ldquo\;underground&rdquo\; textures. The program ends with a brie
 f gallery share\, where youth can describe the story beneath their artwork
