Big Medicine shares the untold story of York\, the Bl ack explorer who played a pivotal role in the Lewis and Clark Expedition o f 1803-1806. The film follows eight adventurers on a four-day river journe y along the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in Montana\, a r ugged and beautiful landscape traversed by the Corps of Discovery in the e arly 19th Century.
