  (DC EIP) Community Playgroups are open to the public and available to fam
 ilies with children three years old and younger. Early intervention profes
 sionals facilitate playgroups and provide a child-interest driven environm
 ent for children to play and socially interact with their same age peers. 
 Families can have conversations with developmental experts and learn about
  how to support their child&rsquo\;s development. If interested\, families
  can complete developmental screenings with members from Strong Start&rsqu
 o\;s child find team\, access information about early intervention service
 s\, and/or receive assistance in making a referral to the Strong Start pro
 gram if needed.</p>\n<p>Community playgroups are held monthly\, on differe
 nt days\, at several DC Public Library locations. RSVP&rsquo\;s are reques
 ted for each playgroup session\, but walk-ins are also welcome.</p>\n<p>If
