 s about General George Washington and local hero John Jay. These men&rsquo
 \;s efforts and great accomplishments are well documented and well known.<

  contributions to the revolutionary cause? Are the names Ann Fisher Miller
  and Phebe Ward familiar to you? Let us gather to tell the stories of thes
 e brave local women and the significant impact they had in our fight for i
 ndependence.</p>\n<p>In honor of America&rsquo\;s 250th anniversary\, plea
 se join us at the White Plains Library on Saturday\, June 13th\, 2026 at 2
 :00pm as we honor these brave women patriots! Learn about their lives and 
 roles during the American Revolution. Listen as an historical interpreter 
 takes us back to 1777 and shares the legend of Sybil Ludington&rsquo\;s ri
 de. Join us in a fun-filled game of trivia (with prizes!)</p>\n<p>This eve
