 e Commission</strong> in Washington\, D.C. In this role she conducts outre
 ach in fulfillment of the SEC&rsquo\;s mission to inform and protect inves
 tors. Prior to joining the SEC\,&nbsp\;Erin&nbsp\;worked for the Consumer 
 Financial Protection Bureau\, AARP\, the North Carolina Bankers Associatio
 n\, and the American Bankers Association.&nbsp\;Erin&nbsp\;earned both her
  undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia.</p>\n
