According to the Mayan legend\, a Mayan princess received a special gift from the sun god that allowed her to solve any problem a person could wor ry about. When worry keeps someone awake\, they tell their worry to as man y dolls as needed. Then the person places the dolls under their pillow.
Children believe that before going to bed at night\, you tell one worry to each doll\, put the dolls under your pillow\, and when you wake up in the morning\, your worries are gone!
