This workshop covers all aspects of the in
venting process from concept to fruition\, developed to help participants
think outside of the proverbial box by using one's imagination to solve ev
eryday problems. \;

Participants work in groups of 5
to 7\, and each group is given a problem to solve through innovation.&nbs
p\;Each group forms a business\, giving each member a title such as CEO\,
CFO\, IT\, Receptionist\, Sales Associates\, Accountants\, etc. \;Once
the positions are established\, the group builds a concept for an inventi
on to address the problem. Once the product idea has been established\, th
e group must name the product\, and create a slogan\, infomercial\, and ma
rketing plan. Each group will pitch their product and infomercial to the o
ther groups who act as judges. \; The winning pitch will be selected b
y our facilitator Lisa Ascolese\, The Inventress. \;
R egistration is required and begins March 23rd. \;Open to kids in grades 4 through 7. \;
\nParticipation is limited to 35 atte ndees\, with a minimum of ten required.
