Access \;Art \;is a temporary\, on e-day event created in partnership with the NWA National Federation of the Blind chapter to offer individuals with and without vision loss the opportunity to experience \;art \;though one-on-one conversation and senses other than sight. Connect with others through \;works of \;art \;from UA School of \;Art \;faculty\, staff\, students\, and community members in a new way! Fo r people of all ages with or without vision loss. Premiering at th is event: a \;3D printed tactile map of a Van Gogh painting!< strong>
\nThis program is free and open to the public. No r egistration required.
\nKim Crowell is an accessibility advocate dedicated to expandi ng access to the arts for individuals with and without vision loss. For mo re than a decade\, she has led workshops and presentations on advancing ac cessibility at institutions and conferences including Crystal Bridges Muse um of American Art\, the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong\, SX SW EDU\, and the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability Conference hos ted by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She was honored with a national award from the American Council of the Blind in recogniti on of her leadership in promoting museum accessibility.

e Blind of Arkansas\, to prototype a 3D-printed tactile map that reimagine
