\nNa&rsquo\;T osha De&rsquo\;Von is an MFA actor from the University of Arkansas and pub lished poet who holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication &\; T heatre from Jackson State University. She is originally from Chicago\, IL and was raised in Mississippi. She believes the purpose of her art is to e xpose and heal. One cannot heal the parts that are broken if they do not s ee them. The exposure\, while brutal\, is a necessary madness. She would l ike to think the first words she ever spoke were in the form of a metaphor . With that\, she acknowledges the power of words. Her love for language h as allowed her to develop poetry and take on the nuances of characters as an actor. She has spent her acting career focusing on Classical and Non-cl assical texts.
