This workshop provides authors with a clea r\, accessible overview of book cover design fundamentals. Participants wi ll learn how effective covers communicate genre and tone\, how ebook and p rint covers differ in function and construction\, and what technical consi derations matter most&mdash\;especially for print wraparound covers. The s ession emphasizes practical knowledge rather than DIY design\, helping aut hors confidently evaluate covers\, brief designers\, and avoid common pitf alls.

She previously served for eight years as the Executive Editor of A nthology magazine\, a small press literary magazine published in Mesa\, Ar izona. Sharon is an active member of SCBWI (Society of Children&rsquo\;s B ook Writers and Illustrators) and serves as the Regional Advisor for SCBWI AZ.
