Explorative Dance emphasizes techniques th at are relaxed\, investigative\, and playful. It uses improvisational prac tices to invite movers to safely try new and creative ways to explore thei r own body and rhythms. Unlike dances that provide specific choreographed movements\, Explorative Dance provides prompts that encourage a wide range of movement possibilities that allow movers to make their own choices in their own time.
\nExplorative Dance may evolve into contact with oth ers\, which in this class will be guided by the instructor. Each class wil l end with a &ldquo\;Jam&rdquo\; where participants can move\, play\, and interact freely.
