 </a> will teach youth how to prepare a recipe while connecting them to the
  local food system. We encourage you to prepare a dish to share with famil
 y and start a dialogue about the cooking tradition in your family.&nbsp\;<
 /p>\n<p>Registrants for this event will receive basic cooking equipment (i
 f requested) and a set of books with the first ingredient pick-up. Ingredi
 ents will be available for pick up from the chosen library location betwee
 n 1pm-5pm the day before the virtual session.&nbsp\; This program is inten
 ded for ages 8 through 12\, but siblings and other family members are enco
 uraged to join in the fun.</p>\n<p>This year\, Book n Cook 2026 will be di
 vided into two different sessions. Families are welcome to register for bo
 th sessions\, but registration for the second session will not open up unt
 il July 13. You do not have to attend the first session to be able to regi
 ster for the second session.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>1st session</strong>&n
