 hundred years\, until his people could stand his tyranny no longer and ros
 e up against him.</em></p>\n<p><em>Tyrant or no\, the sword-lord relished 
 war and waging one against his own people gave him no pause. Dughall took 
 his most loyal men\, as well as the nation's treasury\, to his unassailabl
 e fortress\, the Amethyst Gate. Secure with men\, supplies\, and the natio
 n's greatest treasures\, Dughall was ready for any attack or siege.</em></
 p>\n<p><br /><em>But he was not ready for the wrath of the Burning Valley.
 &nbsp\;</em></p>\n<p><br /><em>A great volcanic eruption blasted the Ameth
 yst Gate and buried it under the remains of a mountain. So ended the story
  of Dughall the sword-lord.</em></p>\n<p><br /><em>Until now\, 400 years l
 ater.</em></p>\n<p><em>A fresh round of eruptions and earthquakes has reve
 aled the Ruins of Amethyst Gate\, and you intend to to plumb it's depths. 
 Perhaps you wish to reclaim your people's treasures\, perhaps you mean to 
 make them your own\, or perhaps you seek the sword-lord's great blade\, sa
