\nIn November of 2022\, we set up a contest for local writers and asked the community to send us their best first pag e. From the submissions\, a panel of judges were to pick four winning page s to be read on the Page One Radio Program. \; \;The Contest was a success and garnered over 100 original and unique entries. The authors\, who represented a variety of ages\, genders\, cultures\, and experiences s ubmitted a multitude of genres including poetry\, fantasy\, memoir\, histo rical fiction\, and more. \; \;2026 was our 4th year running the c ontest! \;
