 </p>\n<p>You&rsquo\;ll discover how to select your seeds\, keep a journal 
 to&nbsp\;track your seedling growth\, and when to start seeds indoors. You
 &rsquo\;ll receive tips for which planting mediums and containers to use\,
  as well as the best lighting\, watering methods\, and fertilizers.</p>\n<
 p></p>\n<p><strong>About Joel Patton</strong></p>\n<p>Joel Patton retired 
 from Virginia Tech Applied Research Center\, Virginia Tech University in t
 he summer of 2023. Since his retirement he has become a Montgomery County 
 Master Gardener\, completed a certificate in Environmental Horticulture at
  Montgomery College and is working towards an advanced degree in environme
 ntal Horticulture. He is also extensively involved in converting his backy
 ard into a native plant habitat\, His other volunteer activities include s
 erving as a Montgomery County Parks Volunteer at Brookside Gardens and Pop
 e Farm and participating in Maryland Nursery\, Landscape\, and Greenhouse 
 Association (MNLGA) meetings and events. He is also a member of the Maryla
 nd Native Plant Society\, the Wild Ones.</p>\n<p><strong>Questions about t
