 nth annual bike ride.</p>\n<p>Join DCPL on a tour of select library locati
 ons. The first Tour de DCPL first rolled out in 2010\, offering a free com
 munity bike ride with library stops included.&nbsp\;Every year since\, a g
 roup of library staff and community members gear up to show riders around 
 the city...and to celebrate&nbsp\;National Bike Month!</p>\n<p>This year's
  Tour de DCPL will take place on&nbsp\;<strong>Saturday\, May 9th at&nbsp\
 ;10:30 a.m.</strong> <strong>(che</strong><strong>ck-in begins at 10 a.m. 
 and the ride starts at 10:30 a.m.)</strong>. The tour will visit four libr
 aries\, stop by the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site\, and follow
  a segment of the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. We will start at the Parkland
 s-Turner Library and wrap up at the Southwest Library -- both of these lib
 raries are conveniently located near Metro stations. Tour de DCPL is a no-
 drop ride -- library staff and ride marshals will accompany the group to e
 nsure that no one gets left behind. This year's ride will be about 7 miles
  long with a couple hills -- beginners are welcome\, but riders with some 
 experience might enjoy the ride more. Ages 13 &amp\; up.</p>\n<p>Enjoy ref
 reshments and pick up some DC Public Library swag as we explore four of ou
 r most beloved locations:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parklands-Turner Library</li>\n<l
 i>Francis A. Gregory Library</li>\n<li>Anacostia Library</li>\n<li>Frederi
 ck Douglass National Historic Site</li>\n<li>Southwest Library</li>\n</ul>
 \n<p><strong>Riders are required to bring their own bicycle and to wear a
