Guaranteed to inspire enduring awe and adm iration\, this is the story of Tracy Edwards\, a 24-year-old cook on chart er boats who wanted to enter an all-female crew in the Whitbread Round-the -World Sailing race. \; She overcomes extraordinary obstacles just to acquire a boat\, and as any sailor will tell you about any voyage\, everyt hing that can go wrong does go wrong. \; On top of all the usual hazar ds\, she has to deal with the extreme misogyny of this male-dominated spor t in the 1990s.
