The North Florida Land Trust is a nonprofit organization commi tted to protecting and preserving our region&rsquo\;s irreplaceable natura l beauty. It has protected over 123\,000 acres in Northeast Florida worth $277M since 1999.
\nNorth Florida Land T rust's mission: To protect North Florida's quality of life through acq uisition and restoration of its irreplaceable lands.
\nRames h Buch has been a full-time real estate professional in the Gaine sville area since relocating there with his wife and twins in 2001. He has had a 25-year career in real estate\, focused almost entirely on the acqu isition of environmentally sensitive lands in Florida. He stood up and ran the Alachua County Forever land conservation program for 16 years. Most r ecently\, he was the Real Estate Services Director for the St. Johns River Water Management District. He has completed almost 50\,000 acres of prope rty transactions worth over $152 million. Upon his retirement from the pub lic sector\, \;Ramesh \;joined NFLT to continue his passion for co nservation land deals. His strengths are problem-solving and negotiating d eals and enjoys the collaborative approach to transactions. He believes th e best solutions are those that make environmental and economic sense.&nbs p\;
