Have you ever wanted to put your family re cipes to the test? Are you a fan of B. Dylan Hollis&rsquo\; wacky vintage dishes in &ldquo\;Baking Yesteryear&rdquo\;? Or maybe you just swear by th e power of a Jell-o mold! Regardless of your credentials\, you are invited to show off your best old-school desserts at the Argenta Public Library o n July 17th during the 3rd Friday Art Walk from 5:30-7:30.
\nNot a c hef? No worries! This fun and friendly competition invites the community t o get involved as our judges for the evening\, sampling and scoring each d essert! Admission to participate is completely free\, and sampling will be gin by 6:00. The winner will be announced and awarded by the end of the ni ght!
\nRegistration is ONLY required for competitors\, \ ;and dishes must be made beforehand. Serving cups\, space\, and s ignage will be provided. The name of your dish and a list of ingredients m ust be sent to Carol at cmccreight@nlrlibrary.org by July 10th. It is reco mmended to bring enough to serve small sample-sized portions to at least 3 0 people.
