  group will upcycle discarded books into one-of-a-kind decor items that re
 semble old "magic spell books." Participants should bring interesting (and
  hopefully free!) items to upcycle: hardback book(s)\; small embellishment
 s to fit the spooky theme like small plastic spiders\, jewels\, skeletons 
 or skulls\, bats or snakes\; Halloween-themed stickers or paper\, old fabr
 ic or lace\, etc.&nbsp\; Let your imagination be your inspiration!&nbsp\; 
 We'll provide space\, instruction\, and some additional supplies to make i
 t happen!&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Upcycled Creations: Upcycled Spook

 1:00 pm</strong><br /><strong>BPL Makerspace</strong></p>\n<p>Upcycled Cre
 ations is a monthly class where we learn about upcycling\, reusing\, mendi
 ng\, community resourcing\, and other sustainable crafting practices.</p>\
 n<p>Each project uses items that might otherwise be sent to the landfill\,
  along with additional supplies and equipment in the Makerspace\, to creat
 e attractive\, useful\, and meaningful crafting experiences. Join us every
  fourth Wednesday at 1:00 pm! Bring a friend and meet some new ones who al
 so want to give new life to "unwanted" items.</p>\n<p><strong>Registration
  is required!&nbsp\;This class is for 18+ only.</strong></p>\n<p><img src=
