 t &ndash\; and what items to place in it.<br />How to plan for essentials 
 such as medications\, transportation\, communication devices\, medical equ
 ipment\, calming toys and devices\, and service dogs and pets.</p>\n<p>Pre

 Ocean County College.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>She has worked in the disability fiel
 d for over 30 years&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;identifies as a neurodivergent adult w
 ith a life-long hidden disability\, which gives her a unique understanding
  of inclusion and accessibility. &nbsp\;As a certified Rehabilitation Coun
 selor\, she uses both her knowledge and personal experience to help others
 &nbsp\;address access barriers in education\,&nbsp\;work&nbsp\;and communi
 ty environments. Jamie often speaks to groups in the community and across 
 the state about disability and inclusion&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;emergency plannin
 g considerations for individuals with disabilities.&nbsp\;She serves as th
 e chairperson for Ocean County&rsquo\;s Core Advisory Group (CAG) on Emerg
 ency Preparedness for Individuals with Disabilities and Access Needs and s
 erves as the Training Officer for Brick Township&rsquo\;s Community Emerge
 ncy Response Team (CERT).&nbsp\;This year\, she was honored with the 2025 
 New Jersey State Governor&rsquo\;s Volunteerism Award for her outstanding
