 tile-based game developed in the 19th century in China\, has spread throug
 hout the world since the early 20th century\, and is currently experiencin
 g a tremendous surge in popularity. It is a game of skill\, strategy\, and
  luck.</p>\n<p>In this class you will learn standard American Mah Jongg ac
 cording to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules. After the class\, you a
 re welcome to participate in the weekly open play mah jongg sessions at th
 e library.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This event is held in conjunction with North Bet
 hesda Village and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.</p>\n<p>Ques

  and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age ra
 nge of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 
 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for c
 hildren must have an accompanying child.</p>\n<p>If you plan to attend wit
 h a group of ten or more\, please contact the branch at least one week bef
 ore the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.</p>\n<p><
