\n< p>Joan Sung is a national cultural competency conference presenter and con sultant and has a BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing\, an MA in English\, and a Doctorate in Education. The Be the Change \;Series takes plac e in conjunction with such commemorations as Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Mont h\, Native American Heritage Month\, Black History Month\, Armenian Genoci de Remembrance\, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month\, and LGBTQ+ Pride. The series will also examine the one-year anniversary of the 2020 racial justice protests and 100-year anniversary of the Tulsa Race M assacre. The series will include virtual lectures\, exhibits\, and online programming from authors\, curators\, and historians.
