"Discovering DNA" walks participants throu gh the scientific method and shows them how to extract DNA from a strawber ry. A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be provided for at tendees. Participants will be provided with worksheets to take home and in structions on how to do this experiment at home.
\nChildren under age 9 should have a caregiver to assist in the learning. \;
\nChildren under 6 will be offered age-appropriate acti vities such as coloring and quiet toys.
