 r melting temperatures. Ever wonder why we use salt in the winter time?&nb
 sp\; Have you ever wondered if other items at home could work? Come join S
 cience Speaks Spokane and learn how to fish for ice using only string and 
 household spices! A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be p
 rovided for attendees. Participants will be provided with worksheets to ta
 ke home and instructions on how to do this experiment at home.</p>\n<p><st
 rong>Children under age 9 should have a caregiver to assist in the learnin
 g.&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Children under 6 will be offered age-ap
 propriate activities such as coloring and quiet toys.</strong></p>\n<p><sp

 lub reading challenge between June 1 and August 31 for the chance to win f
