ifteen when he was arrested\, hustling to survive while holding a basketba
ll scholarship. Something kept pulling him toward a different life. This c
onversation is about what that something was and what it cost him to trust
  it.</p>\n<p>Epps\, known as <strong>2 Chainz</strong>\, earned a basketba
ll scholarship to Alabama State University and built a two-decade rap care
er that includes two Grammy Awards\, a string of platinum singles\, and a
catalog that helped define the sound of Atlanta trap globally. He built a
business portfolio spanning restaurants\, real estate\, cannabis\, fashion
\, film\, television\, and an ownership stake in the College Park Skyhawks
of the NBA's G League\, the neighborhood team in the city where he starte
 d.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In conversation with <strong>DJ Quicksilva</stron
g>\, host of The Quicksilva Morning Show and a fixture in DC's hip-hop and
R&amp\;B community\, 2 Chainz discusses how he traces every decision that
mattered back to a specific kind of attention\, including:</p>\n<ul>\n<li
 >How he learned to distinguish intuition from impulse\, and what it cost h
im to ignore the difference</li>\n<li>The specific moments where faith det
ermined the outcome\, and what he recognized in them only afterward</li>\n
<li>What it took to write honestly about failure when his public identity
is built on winning</li>\n<li>What he wants to hand down to people who cam
e from where he came from</li>\n<li>What the book is asking of its readers
 <br />&nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a chance to hear 2 Chainz say what t
he pages could not hold.</p>\n<p><strong> Registered attendees will have a
n opportunity to purchase a signed copy of&nbsp\;THE VOICE IN MY HEAD IS G
 OD&nbsp\;from our bookstore partner\, MahoganyBooks.</strong></p>\n<h4>Abo
ut the Book</h4>\n<p>Before he was the two-time Grammy Award-winning rappe
 r\, actor\, and entrepreneur 2 Chainz\, he was Tauheed Epps&mdash\;an only
child growing up in College Park\, Georgia\, raised by a single mother wh
ile his father served time in prison. Though he excelled in school and ear
ned a basketball scholarship\, the streets were never far behind\, and by
fifteen\, he had been arrested and was hustling to survive. He faced doubt
and self-destruction\, but even then\, something told him there had to be
more. In <em>THE VOICE IN MY HEAD IS GOD</em>\, 2 Chainz tells the story
of how he walked away from trap and found his purpose: not by fame or fear
\, but by faith. With his unmistakable voice and unflinching honesty\, he
reflects on the most challenging moments of his life and the quiet revelat
ions that shaped him. From the spiritual alarms he could not ignore to the
mentors who showed up at the right time\, he explores how his music and v
erses poured out when he finally listened to the voice that had been there
all along.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>From hanging with Lil Wayne to getting early
help from Ludacris\, THE VOICE IN MY HEAD IS GOD brings us into the defini
ng moments of 2 Chainz&rsquo\;s life and career while delivering a powerfu
l message about discipline\, divine timing\, and self-belief. Along the wa
y\, 2 Chainz offers more than a memoir. He shares a way of thinking\, of t
rusting yourself\, and of listening to the voice that never steers you wro
 ng.</p>\n<p></p>\n<h4>About the Author</h4>\n<p><img src="https://static.l
