iver trail. You will be led through a series off forest bathing invitation
s by a local Certified Forest Therapy Guide.</p>\n<p><strong>What is Fores
 t Bathing?</strong><br />"Forest bathing\, also known as <em>shinrin yoku<
/em>\, is a practice where participants bathe themselves in the forest atm
osphere. There is no water involved in this practice\, and the bathing ref
ers to immersing oneself in nature and the phytoncides\, a group of chemic
als which plants use to communicate with each other. Scientists are findin
g that our bodies respond to these chemical signals in ways which are bene
ficial for us. Practicing forest bathing has been shown to increase immune
response and decrease stress hormones in the body."</p>\n<p><strong>What
to Expect?</strong></p>\n<p>We will begin by slowly walking on an unpaved
trail.&nbsp\; There will be invitations to meditate\, share your experienc
e with the group\, sit or lay down on a yoga mat (provided)\, or stand and
observe nature.&nbsp\; Total hiking distance of 1 mile over uneven terrai
 n.</p>\n<p><strong><img src="https://static.libnet.info/frontend-images/ed
